New to pickleball? What to expect
An hour on court with one group, from a first game to a seasoned player — nobody is sorted into a "beginner" corner and left there. The coach explains the serve, the kitchen line and the scoring as you go, then gets everyone into real points quickly. Most players find pickleball quicker to pick up than tennis: the court is smaller, the paddle lighter, and the ball doesn't bounce as far.
What to bring: sneakers and comfortable clothes. Bring a paddle if you have one; if not, tell us when you sign up and we'll have one ready for your first class.
