Private lessons suit anyone who wants the coach's full attention: a beginner of any age who'd rather start one-on-one than in a group, a player working on something specific before a tournament, or a family that wants to train together. Semi-private lessons work the same way for two, three or four players sharing a court and a coach — friends, siblings, or a parent and child.
What a lesson looks like
Each session runs about an hour, in either tennis or pickleball, built around what you or your group want to work on that day — there's no fixed curriculum the way a group class has one. You pick the sport, the day and the time; we confirm a coach and a court.

Prices are per session and apply to both tennis and pickleball. A child on a “+ Conditioning” or Unlimited plan pays $90 for a one-on-one lesson — see junior competition.

How to book
Reach out with your preferred sport, park and a few times that work for you, and we'll confirm a coach and a court — usually within a day. New players complete a short registration & waiver before their first session; returning NOVA families can book straight from their account.

How much does a private tennis lesson cost?+
$100 for one player per session. Bringing friends or family lowers the per-person cost: $120 for two, $130 for three, $140 for four.
Can I book a semi-private lesson with my own group?+
Yes — up to four players can share a session and a coach.
Do you offer private pickleball lessons, not just tennis?+
Yes, the same prices and booking apply to either sport.
Is there a free trial private lesson?+
The free first class applies to our children's group programs. Private and semi-private sessions are paid from the first booking.

Can a 2-year-old have a private lesson?+
Yes. We coach from age 2, and a private lesson is the usual first step before the Preschooler group at 3.
